Referral Buddy ("we", "us", "our") is a mobile application managed and operated by ATY Digital. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Referral Buddy, you agree to this policy.
Information We Collect
- Account information you provide (name, email, password, and the type of service you offer).
- Referral partner information you add manually or import from your device contacts.
- Referral activity you record in the app (referrals sent and received, notes, follow-up history).
- Device information needed to operate the app (push notification tokens, device type, basic diagnostics).
How We Use Information
- To provide the core features of the app: managing partners, tracking referrals, and sending nudges.
- To send you notifications you have enabled, such as nudge reminders and partner messages.
- To secure your account and prevent fraud or abuse.
- To improve the app's reliability, performance, and feature set.
Contacts Access
If you choose to import contacts to add referral partners, contact information is read on your device and only the entries you select are uploaded to your Referral Buddy account. We do not upload your full address book.
Sharing Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers who help us operate the app (for example, cloud hosting and push notification delivery), or when required by law.
Data Retention & Deletion
You can edit or delete your data at any time from within the app. Deleting your account permanently removes your partners, referrals, and activity history from our systems.
Children
Referral Buddy is intended for users 17 and older and is not directed to children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in the app or by email.
